Public employees of the City of Cartagena celebrate one more year their patron, Santa Rita, organizing a program of cultural and sports activities, which started on Friday May 3 with the opening of the exhibition 'Ritalia 2019', in the Municipal Archaeological Museum ' Enrique Escudero de Castro ', act attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.
The sample, of painting and sculpture, has been made with the material contributed by the municipal workers with the collaboration of the Lucerna Association and can be visited until the end of June, with free admission.
In addition to the exhibition, the City of Cartagena has scheduled other activities to celebrate Santa Rita, including a Poetry Recital, a hiking route on Isla Plana, a visit to the Roman Forum and the Amphitheater, football and paddle tennis tournaments and a biker route, In addition to a mass in honor of the patron and a convivial dinner.
Remember that, although Santa Rita is on Wednesday, May 22, the holiday will be moved to Friday, May 24, the day when the municipal offices will remain closed.
