The COEC celebrates its 40th anniversary in its annual Ordinary General Assembly (03/05/2019)

This Friday, May 3, the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has hosted Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of Business Organizers of Cartagena and District (COEC) which celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The multitudinous event has begun at 12.30 in which a balance has been made of the past 2018, with the 'Strategic Analysis of the Economy of the District of Cartagena 2018' together with the success of the 'Program of Entrepreneurs 360', among others , as well as the increase in income thanks to membership fees, which are expected to continue increasing this 2019, together with all the proposals for this new year.

Among the authorities that have attended the closing ceremony were the president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, along with the president of CROEM, José María Albarracín and the president of COEC, Pedro Pablo Hernández.

"For any leader of a public administration it is important to have an organization like COEC", declares the mayor, "thanks to working with them it is very easy to carry out joint actions between administrations and businessmen to continue defining how we want the economy to continue growing Township".

During the closing ceremony, the mayor made a report on the current labor situation in the municipality, as well as the tourist increase she has been experiencing or the situation of the AVE on her arrival in Cartagena, but also the next new General Plan.
