The socialist candidate for the Presidency of the Community, Diego Conesa, highlighted this morning, on the occasion of the celebration of the General Assembly of COEC, in Cartagena, "the importance of business associationism and the business fabric for the progress and development of the country, of the Region, and as in this case, of the region of Cartagena ".
Diego Conesa congratulated the Cartagena employers for "the commemoration of his 40 years of associationism" and said that "as a businessman in my previous stage of politics I value and always defend the work of the vast majority of responsible entrepreneurs, who know that We are in a moment of enormous challenges for which the Socialist Party has answers and is prepared to face and give the necessary stability that the Region deserves. "
The socialist candidate has referred to new industrial scenarios such as robotization, digitization, the transformation of society and the modification of many jobs, mainly in the area of ​​industry, "which will not be what we have today and in this process of change will have to work in a coordinated way entrepreneurs and administrations.
On the other hand, Conesa has criticized that the regional administration "continue lurching and signs of exhaustion after 24 years of government, defrauding the immense confidence given by the citizens"
In this sense, he added that "we are witnessing a cycle that is ending and leaving behind a very severe labor precariousness, GDP growth at the bottom of the country and an inequality and a wage gap that needs to be improved so that there is a robust growth of the economy and a stability that only the Socialist Party offers ".
