The XXII edition of'Entre Cuerdas y Metales' is preparing for its closing and awards ceremony (02/05/2019)

Chamber music was the modality of the contest "Between Strings and Metals" in charge of putting the finishing touch, and never better said in its twenty-second edition.

The five groups that performed perfectly reflected the enormous work and number of rehearsal hours made by each one of them, seeing the result on stage last Tuesday making us enjoy the large audience and making it difficult for the Jury to decide the verdict.

Chamber Music is a relatively new modality, since the contest was included in the XX edition, which has been in demand for some years.

In this XXII edition, among the finalist groups we find groups of all kinds, from a duo of piano and clarinet, two percussionists, a percussionist with a saxophonist, a quartet of saxophones and a trio of barbed instruments, all fully interpenetrated showing his talent as a common element in each and every one of the components.

This was the program on Tuesday, April 30, with which we closed the contest, yes, until the day of the Closing and Awards Ceremony that will take place on May 17 at the Auditorium of El Batel, at 20 : 00 h., And where we will have the pleasure of listening to the winning group of chamber music of the last edition: The Scherzo Quintet composed by: María Conesa Vidal (clarinet), Ana Ros Hernández (Flute Travesera), Pablo Bernal Pozo (Oboe) ), Javier García Bas (Bassoon), Paula Cerdán Brau (horn)
