This is the calendar and the contents of the workshop:

Monday, May 6

1st Session: Stories for Equality.

The narrated stories are the most traditional way of communicating our culture and knowledge.

Through them we transmit how we live, and through them we can reflect on how we want to live.

Stories for Equality is a philosophy workshop to think about the rights of everyone.

Monday, May 20

2nd Session: Games and Criteria.

Take an exam, follow the rules of a game, understand the rules of the library ... are some of the activities we do daily.

Knowing the criteria and how they are formed opens up the possibility of better understanding the norms and customs in which we live.

Monday, June 3

3rd Session: The art of the beautiful.

The third session of philosophy we want to dedicate to art.

Abstract art as a reflection on itself is as close to thought as philosophy itself, opening a new path that allows us to learn and reflect. What if we try to think with images and colors?

Why is studying philosophy important for child development?

(from the web: http://lascebrassalen.com/)

"First of all because children have the ability to think, to ask, to interrogate, to ask questions ... it is something that is very much in the potential of the children, and also because it helps them enormously to develop skills for their adult and professional life: the ability to criticize, to dialogue, to reach consensus, to question what we take for granted, skills that, if the child is already trained in this group of faculties, will allow him to have a more integral and more solid formation. It is easy when the child reaches adulthood to have good skills for work activity, therefore, the benefits can be identified not so much of teaching philosophy to children but of philosophizing with them or philosophizing from their questions. "

"Children want to know why ignore generates a certain concern, a sense of lack of control that we are concerned about enough to understand understanding, it gives us serenity, understanding emotional wellbeing, it is convenient to stop and see if the answers we give satisfy your curiosity or generate Perhaps they can not understand a scientific answer, but we can not always answer with analogies: Any child can understand, based on his experience, that it rains because the water that is on the earth rises to the sky in the form of vapor and then falls as water, as when droplets form on the shower screen in the bathroom of the house, exploring together usually requires more time than the easy answer: it rains because the sky is sad ".
