The tragedy Fedra, a production of the International Classical Theater Festival of Mérida, returns to the stage with a version written by Paco Becerra and directed by Luis Luque.
The New Theater Circus of Cartagena hosts on Thursday, May 2, at 9:00 pm, this work starring Lolita Flores, where he gives life to a woman who, this time, flees from fear and guilt to dare to love .
The synopsis is as follows: "Fedra, the queen of the Island of the Volcano, seems ill and no doctor really knows what happens to her.
He does not eat, he does not sleep and he has the whole country worried about his state of health.
Some attribute it to her husband's continual absences, but the truth is that the condition of our protagonist is a passion that can not be repressed, an immoral feeling, a violent desire, an indecent and imprisoned love ".
The work is also starring Juan Fernández, Críspulo Cabezas, Eneko Sagardoy and Tina Sáinz.
Tickets, which cost around 20 euros, can be purchased at the ticket office or on the website of the Nuevo Teatro Circo.
