The jury of the 'IV Contest of beautification of balconies and facades in Holy Week city of Cartagena', has visited today the nine balconies and facades that this year attend this contest.
The facilities are located in the streets Mayor, Canales, Aire, Santa Florentina, Plaza del Risueńo, in addition to another out of competition, but which receives a Special Mention, on Calle José Rosique del Llano del Beal.
The jury, made up of the councilman of Culture, David Martínez Noguera, technicians of this council, the people in charge of the Art Commissions of the Cofradías California, Marraja and of the Risen One, Ángel Julio Huertas, José Pérez Martínez and Pedro Giménez Saura, the Chaplain of the Brotherhood of Socorro, Lázaro Gomaríz, the Director of the Museum of the Roman Theater, Elena Ruiz Valderas, as well as several components of the Association of Women Cofrades of Cartagena, has valued the ornaments of balconies and facades and will be announced at the beginning of the Week Holy which are the winners.
The prizes will be:
1st prize, endowed with € 250 and diploma- 2nd prize, endowed with € 150 and diploma
Two runners-up, endowed with € 50 and a diploma
Special mention to the most original
