Cartagena inaugurates a high-intensity sports weekend with the celebration of a conference on sport and business (05/04/2019)

Today, Friday April 5, the Municipal Sports and Business Days are held.

It is a round table with different actors in the sports field of Cartagena and its region, in order to contribute to the promotion and projection of companies to promote sports and the promotion of the entrepreneur as a growth engine associated with the values ​​of sport .

The event takes place in the Hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Business Sciences of the UPCT (former CIM), with the presence of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, and the Secretary of State for Sport, María José Rienda.

The first mayor of the city, Ana Belén Castejón, has affirmed that the celebration of this round table is proof that the city "bets on sport".

In addition, he wanted to highlight the fact that the weekend of April 6 and 7 Cartagena "can be defined as the sporting capital of the Region of Murcia.

We have many events such as the X edition of the Route of the Fortresses or the two regional derbies. "

In addition, Castejón says that Cartagena is "the first city where they will take place a few days of this type."
