On Thursday and Friday the Campus of Los Dolores will host this international university event of Trail Running and Adventure Raids of the Faculty of Sports of the Catholic University, for which it has broken its own record of communications presented with about thirty contributions .
The School of Sports of the San Antonio Catholic University has organized for this Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 the 5th edition of the International Trail Running and Adventure Raids 'Route of the Strengths', which will be held at the Campus of Los Dolores with the collaboration of the Navy, the Vice-Rector for Research of the UCAM and Practiser, among others.
On this occasion, the activity will begin on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:00 p.m. Miguel Garrado of the Marine Infantry School will explain the security management and the provisioning necessary for the organization of the Road of Strengths 2019 , the civic-military sports event with the highest demand in the Spanish Levante.
On that day, attendees will see a performance of the Degree and Dance Company of the UCAM, before listening to the intervention of Fabrice Vercruyssen of the Laboratory of Experience of Health and Human Motricity of the University of Toulon (France) on the Short-range Trail Running: Performance and optimization model.
For his part, the physiotherapist of Practiser Gabriel Aguilera will give a workshop of functional recovery of the corridor and the director of Marketing of Practiser, Pedro González, will explain his proposal of private medicine available to everyone, while Ángel Rosagro will explain what is #TuRetoSolidario against Cancer on the Route of the Fortresses.

One of the strong points of the congress will be the round table on training and competition of the trail runner in which from 16:30 the international Trail Runner Sheila Avilés will participate;
the national team member of Trail Run, Vicente Capitán;
the Spanish Champion of 800 meters by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation and finalist of the European Championship, Mariano García;
and the international trail runner Juan José Larrotcha.
This first day will conclude with the exhibition of the works of the first children's contest of the congress and the youth contest.
On Friday morning, Antonio Baena, from the University of Granada, and Antonio Granero, from the University of Almeria, will speak on the competency tasks to introduce mountain races and adventure raids in Physical Education.
Next, the medical chief of SODICAR, Javier González, responsible for the preparation of diabetic athletes of the first level as the ultrarunner Antonio Lledó or the international decathletes Vicente Guardiola and Sergio Jornet, will talk about how the ultra-resistance is faced with type diabetes 1, while the Sportsman I Am Nordic Walking Isidro López will give a practical workshop on the use of Nordic walking sticks in Trail races.
The Congress will conclude with the analysis of the communicative dimension of the trail run tests and rads of adventures by the expert and advisor in athletics and Cross Country for Teledeporte Gerardo Cebrián, of the Spanish Athletics Federation together with the expert journalists in local sports area Diego Sánchez de La Opinión, and Francis Moya of Diario La Verdad.
