The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, is scheduled to preside over Thursday, March 21, the jury of the XXXVII Cartagena Sports Awards that annually convened the City of Cartagena, through the Department of Sports and in collaboration with the media local, in order to recognize people and entities that have contributed in an outstanding way to promote or disseminate sports physical activity in the municipality, during the year 2018.
From the Best Sponsor or the Best Base Club, to the Sports Spirit or Research Work, through the Best Male and Female Athletes, in the meeting that will begin at 20:45, in the council room of the Town Hall , will be awarded up to twelve awards, among the proposals that have been recorded until last March 1.
The qualifying jury, in which sports information professionals are invited to participate, representing each of the local media, together with the Sports Councilor, Manuel Mora, and technicians from his department, will evaluate the proposals and award the awards , which will be communicated at that time to the chosen ones to make the usual photo on the staircase of the Palace.
The awards ceremony will take place soon in a gala organized by the Department of Sports.
