Activities to prevent drug addiction at the San José fiestas of the UPCT (14/03/2019)

The Technical Office of the Municipal Plan on Addictions and Drug Addiction (PMAD) within its program of activities in 2019, will participate on Friday 15 March at the Fiestas de San José, an event organized by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), with prevention actions aimed at the group of university students.

The planned activities are:

Dissemination of information about the consumption of alcohol and other drugs

Viewing Spots of the risks produced by the use of drugs to favor critical reflection in the young population

Symbolic measurements of alcohol

Promotion of responsible attitudes towards the abusive consumption of alcohol and other drugs among young people themselves.

There will be a Photocall to become "The Photo from before", an image that reflects that "Your best moment is when you control the most".

Distribution of flyers with tips on the Responsible Use of Alcohol

Survey Youth, Leisure and Consumption to collect data and information to improve the offer of Leisure and Alternative Free Time of young people of Cartagena

The objective of these activities is to raise awareness and awareness of the abuse of addictions, facilitate and improve information on the risks produced by alcohol consumption and promote responsibility for the abuse of drugs of greater consumption, creating "Awareness of Responsible Consumption" .

These actions will be carried out in collaboration with the Local Police and Youth Council, Municipal Services that are integrated in the PMAD itself.
