The president of the Popular Party will present the candidate for mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, accompanied by the secretary general, Teodoro García Egea, and the president of the regional PP, Fernando López Miras
"Cartagena will be the capital of family and equality on Saturday," announced on Friday the popular candidate for mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo.
"The fact that Cartagena is the seat of the national convention is a tangible sign that Cartagena is a priority for the Popular Party and the commitment we have with Cartagena," said Arroyo.
"We will talk about the real problems of women and families, fleeing from slogans and radicalism, and providing solutions." In the Popular Party, we do not want to speak on behalf of women, but to work for them and their families, as we have always done, and that is what we will continue doing this Saturday, "said Arroyo.
The national convention, which will gather the main proposals of the Popular Party on family and equality, will take place at 11:30 in the Hall of Degrees of the UPCT School of Industrial Engineering (former Navy Hospital).
The former Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Dolors Montserrat, the Deputy Secretary of Social Policy, Cuca Gamarra, and the former Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Mario Garcés, will discuss in a round table the initiatives of the Popular Party to guarantee real equality between men and women.
The national convention reinforces the act of presentation of Arroyo tomorrow.
The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, the secretary general, Teodoro García Egea, and the president of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, will clothe the candidate at the launching of her candidacy at 12:30 in the courtyard of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the UPCT.
