The deputations and neighborhoods of Cartagena celebrate the carnival with various parades and fancy dress contests, such as those held on Sunday in La Palma.

The councilman of Culture, Tourism and Equality, David Martinez, presided over the jury of the contest organized by the youth platform, corresponding the award to the most original disguise to the one elaborated by the Association Amas de Casa, which was delivered by the councilor.

The rest of the prizes were:

Best Individual Costume: Leire, disguised as Mary Poppins.

Best parade: Comparsa Maracuyá.

Best Choreography by Group: Grupo Pioneros All Black.
