Last Monday, the mayor staged an agreement with businessman Tomás Olivo for which the City meets the claims of this promoter on the so-called Plan Rambla.
MC Cartagena, through its municipal spokesman, José López, has assessed the latest in urban planning in the municipality.
Lopez said that "it has not been two days since the announcement of the 'historic' unlocking of the Rambla Partial Plan and the announcement is already in the water."
The mayor recalled that "as mayor, I decided to retake the Partial Plan to get a fierce judicial confrontation of thirty years back to the administrative channel, as well happened."
It should be remembered that Article 49 of the Public Sector Legal Regime Law requires temporarily adjusting the obligations of both parties, "something that Caostejón has not done," he said.
Therefore, added the Cartagena leader, "after the Berlanguan staging results that, as there are no deadlines, the mayor has to go out and say that he has a verbal commitment to build the road, which we do not doubt, but which is clearly insufficient for municipal purposes and, above all, for legal purposes ".
In this context, Lopez has denounced that "as in all strategic issues that sell PP and PSOE, we find that the trailer is made and then try to shoot the film, and so we are not thirty years, but forty, attending movies of terror in which Cartagena continues to lose opportunities ".
For this reason, José López concluded by stating that "in MC we are not for photos but for solutions, that is why, in May, I will resume contact to fix the obligations with the developer, such as the road execution deadlines, the whole urbanization and from the park".
Continuity to MC management
José López has finished advancing that, from the month of May after the municipal elections, "we will continue the real progress that has been made during this term, fruit of our work, and that PP and PSOE have come to a halt" .
Among these efforts and issues of interest for the progress of the municipality, the municipal spokesman of MC has cited "the transfer of the Deposit Franco to Los Camachos and the ratification of the viability of the ZAL, the decontamination of El Hondón and my commitment to be turn into a large park, the withdrawal of the status of developer of the CC1 to companies linked to the Alonso brothers and the execution of guarantees for more than 10 million euros, added to the claim of the ICIO to Repsol for 24 million euros, as well as the continuity of Casco Antiguo projects, which boosted the municipality with social planning actions such as the MAPS project, the recovery of Monte Sacro, with initiatives such as windmills, archaeological campuses and the new public space of Sister Francisca Armendariz, or the impulse to the Amphitheater, among others ".
