The first edition of Fitur MITM MICE & Business has been considered a success in the last edition of Fitur.
Cartagena's Congress Office has been present at the event to promote its services within the business tourism sector.
The work forum, which took place in Hall 9 of IFEMA, brought together 200 participants from 35 different countries;
representatives of corporate agencies, incentive agencies, meeting planners, international associations and tour operators.
The Cartagena Congress Office has held 27 meetings with national and international companies to sell the city as a new destination for its business activities and meetings.
The objective of these meetings has been to hold meetings with national companies seeking to leave traditional destinations such as Madrid and Barcelona.
The international companies selected for our meetings have been those located in the countries with which the new Corvera airport offers connections.
In addition to its participation in Fitur MITM, the Cartagena Congress Office has actively participated in Fitur with a work workshop of its own in which Cartagena was presented to 30 event and congress organizers.
It has counted with the participation of companies associated to the congress office and the support of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
In parallel, Cartagena Puerto de Culturas, has held working meetings at the Costa Cálida Murcia Region booth, where it has met with Tour Operators and Travel Agencies, in search of new potential clients and to strengthen agreements with customers in the sector .
