Pedro Fernández presented his first book'Pollos en la asfalto' (28/01/2019)

Last Friday 25th the Auditorium Luzzy hosted the presentation of Pedro Fernández's first book (Peter Fern), 'Pollos en la asfalto', which was attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.

The work, belonging to the program 'Read, Think and Imagine' of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, was presented at a press conference on Tuesday 22 at the Palace Hall, but it was in the Luzzy when presented more in depth at 7:00 pm the Assembly Hall of El Luzzy

At the event, in addition to hosting a small reading of the book, there was a small cocktail and a musical performance by Pedro Callejón de la Calle.

"Thanks to the 'Reading, thinking and imagining' program, hundreds of writers and writers have passed through Luzzy, none of which is as special as the one Pedro Fernández accompanies today" says the Councilor for Culture, as Peter Fern, as is known This writer has already felt the need to express his experiences and reflections through poetry.

The work, which has been subsidized by the same author, deals with how the world in which we live today is changing according to the thoughts, dreams and point of view of the author.

In the words of Pedro Fernández, "the book is made with the soul, with the heart and with simplicity".

Its title, explains the author, comes from a dream in which some chickens appeared on the asphalt of a road.

They had a deteriorated appearance and seemed to be out of place, of their habitat, which is why the title perfectly reflects the thoughts of these changes that have been experimenting in society, which has little to do with that of a few years ago.
