The Basketball Women's Club Cartagena (BFCT), in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, with its Department of Sports, the Basketball Club Cartagena and the Basketball Federation of the Region of Murcia (FBRM), organizes the I International Basketball Tournament at Christmas "City of Cartagena" to be held at the Palacio de los Deportes on December 28 and 29 (Friday and Saturday).
As an international team invited to this tournament we will have the "Starlites Basketball MALTA", combined from the city of Naxxar (Republic of Malta)
The team of the Republic of Malta will face the following teams: Basketball Club Cartagena, Real Murcia Basket, Basketball Club Femenino Cartagena.
This tournament will be played at the Palace of Sports of Cartagena, in the cadet, junior and senior categories, both male and female.
The competition will start this Friday, 28, starting at 7:00 pm, on the main track of the Sports Palace of Cartagena, with the senior women's category match: ISEN BFCT against REAL MURCIA BASKET.
The president of the Basketball Feminine Club Cartagena, Gerardo González, showed his gratitude to the City of Cartagena and, especially, the team of the Department of Sports, for relying on our Club to organize this championship.
Gerardo González recalled that this past August the club organized the U16 Women's International Tournament, with the national teams of Russia, France, Poland and Spain.
"I want to encourage all the players and players to compete with maximum energy and show all the positive values ​​of this sport, and I would also like to thank our sponsors and, especially, SPAR for their collaboration in this tournament," he said. president of the club.
The other matches will take place on Saturday, both on the main and auxiliary courts of the Palacio de los Deportes.
