The Symphonic Band of the Federation of Music Bands of the Region of Murcia has offered a solidarity concert for the benefit of the associations D'Genes and Retimur.
The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, attended on Sunday, December 9, the concert that hosted the Municipal Auditorium of El Batel.
The lyrical concert was directed by Jaime Belda and in the soprano participated Breanne Jaramillo and tenor Pablo Martínez, who performed works such as the Overture of Nabucco, Summer Time, The Guest of the Sevillano, Memory of Cats, the Trust of the Tenorio, Over the rainbow of The Wizard of Oz, The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Candide and the Federation Hymn.
The charity concert was for the benefit of the associations:
- D'Genes is an association of people affected by a rare disease, family members and specialists, whose objective is to promote the dissemination and awareness of the public health problems that are the rare pathologies.
Its objective is to take actions to improve quality and life expectancy.
-Retimur is an association of people affected by retinitis and other degenerative pathologies of the retina with progressive loss of acuity and visual field, which aims to create specialized units for the monitoring and treatment of these diseases.
