MC demands in the Plenary of La Palma that security be improved in the regional highway RM-311, road located next to the plot of the Tomás Ferro Foundation (28/11/2018)

MC Cartagena presented yesterday, in the Plenary Session of the Neighborhood Board of La Palma, an initiative to urgently transfer to the Directorate General of Roads of the CARM deficiencies in terms of safety on the regional road RM-311 , located at the entrance of said deputation, in a section of six hundred meters from the Las Cañas junction to the service road T-12-5-6.

The aforementioned section of this road, which is located next to the Tomás Ferro Foundation plot, has a pronounced slope that increases as the road to service progresses, which makes it a high-risk area for workers. road users.

In this sense, the Cartagena spokesperson in La Palma, Mari Carmen Saura, who was accompanied by the mayor Francisco Calderón, said that "this incident puts in danger, especially at night, the movement of vehicles. we need to improve this deficiency with the lateral signaling of pronounced hard shoulder warnings and the placement of light signals or beacons ".
