In the area of ​​management, most governments act against the current, reacting to the imminence of a regulation or of a compulsory nature that ends up running over.
One of the issues on the agenda is the fight against climate change.
A few days ago we knew that the future entry into force of the Climate Change Law will urge the large cities of the Region, determined by the number of inhabitants (more than 50,000), to adopt measures that will dramatically reduce traffic pollution.
Cartagena, Murcia, Lorca and Molina will have to integrate into urban planning five measures that mitigate gas emissions and encourage the use of bicycles and electric transport.
Our municipality, in this case, should not run.
In terms of climate change, we arrive with the duties done.
Only current rulers can avoid it.
It's just to recognize it.
Also objective and easily demonstrable.
If we are in a good starting situation it is because, for MC and its leader, José López, the idea to develop was to work on a municipality project, far from the easy and short-range revenue.
We bet for the solidity of a future municipality, that responds by itself to the challenges that, now, the bad students must confront.
Because deciding to act on these criteria is to focus on the attention of people, improve their day to day enjoying a friendly municipality and, this time, for everyone.

Respect for technical criteria and an idea of ​​a municipality
Since the second half of 2015, the MC team and the technicians of the Sustainable Development area joined efforts to reach agreement and channel initiatives.
Thus, the Department of Municipal Infrastructures arrived with the UPCT.
Created in 2015. It has worked since then although the second phase is running late.

Among the objectives, the contaminated soil line will shortly present the preliminary project for the recovery of contaminated soils in El Hondón.
The objectives were approved in 2017, slowed down by the inability and lack of payment of the mayor's office.

improvements in urban transport;
electric vehicles;

20 green measures to recover the vegetation cover of the municipality.
Socialist obstruction prevents progress.

Remember also that there is an amendment of MC to the budget of 2018. Obviously, pending execution.
All the measures contemplated in the future Climate Change Law are included in the different MC initiatives.
The only thing that the PSOE must do is allow the implementation of these actions and manage external funds where their own do not arrive.
That is, opt for subsidies that allow it.

Reach effectiveness through planning.

Immediate challenges of the 'M17'.
Recover urban trees that have not been restored in 2018;
install the outstanding electric chargers;
tender the bike lanes;
bicycle loan service;
return to the dissuasive parkings that we devised or start with the 'superblocks' in the Ensanche.
The search for financing
To make possible the 'V18' has all the documents and plans.
His work is the simplest, but not for them.
Get public funds.
Starting with the calls of Red.es, the public business entity dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Business.
In the same way, it will be essential to attend the grants provided by the Innovative Urban Actions program 'UIA'.
January is the key date and the end of the deadline for the presentation of candidacies.
The Government must be prepared to apply for a line of grants to act on concepts such as the digital transition;
urban poverty;
the sustainable use of the land with solutions based on nature and, finally, urban security.
MC will continue to comply with the neighbors and their vocation of public service.
We will demand it in the next municipal plenary session.
Because for Castejón and Torralba (and its invisible coordinator) climate change is limited to taking the umbrella if it rains.
But there is a serious and rigorous work by the municipal technicians and the UPCT that we started.
We will not allow it to be lost.
