MC continues to ensure that the socialist government does not deceive the neighbors also with the Participatory Budgets (15/11/2018)

This morning, the mayors of MC Cartagena, Isabel García and María José Soler, attended, in the administrative building of San Miguel, a new and fruitless meeting of the Commission for Monitoring Participatory Budgets.

At the end of the session, the MC Cartagena municipal deputy speaker, Isabel Garcia, has advanced that "our training will continue to be concerned that the Government of Ana Belén Castejón does not revert to its usual practice and we will not allow the neighbors to be tricked again "

On the Participative Budgets of 2019, Garcia has assured that "we can not support the Government with its project of Participatory Budgeting when they have not even presented us with a draft of the municipal budgets for next year".

"We can not be accomplices in the game of political window dressing and empty announcements so typical of the socialist government, without knowing if we will have budgets for next year before the elections and, therefore, without being able to materialize the game that will be allocated to the participatory ones, We do not believe that the projects chosen by the neighbors are feasible, so we can not give our support to the 2019 edition ", explained the mayor of Cartagena.

It should be remembered that the Participatory Budgeting is an initiative promoted by MC from its responsibilities in the Government of Cartagena to give voice and vote to the neighbors regarding the works they consider a priority for their environment.
