CTSSP-We can denounce the situation of collapse of the Single Window of the Autonomous Community in Cartagena (09/11/2018)

Already in the month of May of this year, the councilor Pilar Marcos and the regional deputy Maria Angeles Garcia denounced along with the representative of CCOO, Paco Saura, staff deficiencies in these units, where, in the words of the Ministry of Family and Equality of Oportunidades, there was already talk of "confusion, delay and delay".

As CTSSP was able to see today, some 100 people waited at midday in the offices of the Forum Building, an opportunity to ask for rent aid in the face of the precarious economic situation they suffer, but without the certainty of being able to do the paperwork.

At 12 noon the possibility of taking numbers is closed and about 80 or 90 people will be left out, like every day.

The situation has generated in some moments tension between the affected ones, arriving at some time to lose the nerves, before the imminent end of the term that finishes the next Tuesday 13. To Podemos it seems outrageous to him that one reaches such ends of inattention, especially when It has been denounced for a long time by the workers themselves, the unions and some parties like ours.

We must remember that we are also talking about families and people who in most cases are in a situation of social vulnerability, so it is totally inappropriate to put such short deadlines and windows with so little staff to serve them.

From Podemos we are going to ask again through the municipal plenary, as well as in the Regional Assembly to provide more personnel to the Single Window Service of the CARM, or to install a new registration point for the Autonomous Community in our municipality.

"It is a new ninguneo and a discrimination on the part of the CARM towards the neighbors of Cartagena, we denounced it a long time ago and we do it now, in view of what is happening today. to be served, we need more staff, more officials to meet the demands of so many people in need, "said Pilar Marcos and Teresa Sánchez after checking the jam in the offices of the Forum building.
