The Governing Board approves the bases for the consolidation of 151 workers of the City Council (09/11/2018)

The Local Government Board, meeting this morning and attended by councilors Manuel Mora, Juan Pedro Torralba, Carmen Martin, David Martinez Noguera and Mercedes Garcia, has approved the bases of the Public Employment Offer of 2018 to begin the consolidation of temporary employment of the municipality of Cartagena.

In total it consists of the regularization of a total of 151 places among which are positions of A1, A2, C1 and C2.

Specifically, from group A1 there are 2 positions of architect, one of road engineer, a psychologist, a senior technician of speech therapy education, a senior laboratory technician and a senior prevention technician.

Belonging to group A2 there is an equal opportunity agent, 7 technical architects, a technical assistant of archives and libraries, 3 educators, a social graduate, 5 industrial technical engineers, a technical engineer of public works, 2 professors, 2 programmers, a technician of professional orientation, another of training and insertion and 25 social workers.

C1 will consolidate the places of 2 community administrators, a topography assistant, a file technical assistant, 3 computer technical assistants, a youth information technical assistant, a telecommunication technical assistant, 7 youth technical assistants, a technical assistant of tourism, 2 draughtsmen, a web designer, 5 educators, 20 monitors and a programmer.

As for the C2, an auxiliary Civil Protection, 8 library assistants, 4 maintenance assistants, an assistant of electricity, 5 mechanical drivers, 6 school custodians, 6 monitors, 7 maintenance pawns, 8 porters or ordinances, a telephone operator and A translator.

The objective pursued by the government team is to provide stability to the workforce of the City of Cartagena.

In addition, the signing of the agreement between the City Council and Iberdrola that will allow the diversion and burial of the high voltage power line of the new school of La Aljorra has also been approved.

This will involve an investment of more than 120,000 euros and will consist of dismantling the medium and high voltage line that crosses the plot, both the line and support as placement.

With the approval of these two initiatives, a commitment made by the mayor Ana Belén Castejón was fulfilled in the recent Debate on the State of the Municipality.

Another project that has been approved in the Governing Board is that of the Social Local of Llano del Beal, with a value that exceeds 510,000 euros.

In the same way, it has been agreed to initiate the file of elaboration of the municipal ordinance of cleaning of unidentified lots and lands of the municipality.

On the other hand, the framework agreement has already been given the green light to constitute the social inclusion table for the promotion of the city in Cartagena, as well as the subsidy for the promotion of local commerce for a value of 40,000 euros.
