The author Luis Antonio de Villena visits the poetry festival Deslinde (07/11/2018)

This Friday, November 9, Deslinde arrives at one of his most awaited guests, the poet and narrator, Luis Antonio de Villena, who despite his many activities, and his taste for narrative and essay, when asked, He does not hesitate to qualify as a poet.

The act will be presented by the poet Ángel Paniagua and will take place in the auditorium of the Museum of the Roman Theater of Cartagena, on Friday, November 9, at 8:00 p.m.

Luis Antonio de Villena (Madrid, 1951) has a degree in Romance Philology and studied classical and oriental languages, but he dedicated himself just after the University, literature and graphic journalism and then the radio.

With 19 years he published his first book of poems, 'Sublime Solarium'.

His creative work - in verse or prose - has been translated, individually or in anthologies, into many languages, including German, Japanese, Italian, French, English, Portuguese or Hungarian.

This author has received the National Prize for Criticism (1981) -poesía- the Azorín de Novela Prize (1995), the Melilla City of Poetry International Prize (1997), the Vertical Smile Award for Erotic Narrative (1999) and the Prize Poetry International Generation of 27 (2004).

In October 2007 he received the II International Poetry Prize "Viaje del Parnaso".

He has done different translations, anthologies of young poetry, and critical editions and is currently collaborating in El Mundo and Radio Nacional de España.

COFFEE CONVERSOS WITH LUIS ANTONIO DE VILLENA AT THE MURAM

The award-winning writer's visit to the festival will conclude on Saturday, November 12, at 11:00 a.m., with his participation in a meeting with young readers and poets from our region at the MURAM Regional Museum of Modern Art.

It is a special act of the festival that seeks the meeting of consecrated poets in the form of intergenerational dialogue where young people can learn directly from the magisterium of their elders in poetic creation.

This event will be attended by 20 young poets and poetry readers who are: Abdón Torresano Ramón, Alma Baeza Mula, Arminda Teguizet Tovar, Aura Cano, Anabel Úbeda, Carmen Mª López, Christian Nieto Tavira, Clara Herrero Celdrán, Jesús Romero Toribio, Elena Trinidad Gómez, Francisco Vicente Conesa, Héctor Tarancón Royo, Juan Antonio Fernández, Luis Escavy, María Escribá, María Marín, Marina Alcolea, Pablo Velasco Baleriola, Pablo Vizcaíno Guillén and Víctor Cadenas Aguilar.

This act is closed to the participating guests.
