The Medieval Market and other events will cause traffic jams in the center of the city (07/11/2018)

The Local Police of Cartagena has reported the traffic cuts that will occur during the next few days for the celebration of a series of social, cultural and sports events in the city.

Thus, from 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, on the occasion of the Vintage Market installed in the streets of the city center, the passage of vehicles will be restricted, affecting mobility in the Historic District until Sunday 11 of November.

It is advisable, therefore, not to use the car to access the Casco Antiguo as it will be completely impossible.

In addition to the Mercado de Epoca, on Friday, November 9, a procession with the image of Our Lady the Virgin of Rosell will take place at around 20.00 hours around the Church of Santa María.

Also on Friday and Sunday, will disembark in Cartagena about 2,074 and 2,250 cruise passengers respectively, which will make more necessary traffic cuts, not only for the Market but for the safety of visitors.

The owners of garages in Calle Aire y, Jara and Príncipe de Vergara, will be able to enter them at reduced speed and always prioritizing the pedestrian on Calle Villamartín.

Also those who have their garage on Gisbert Street can access via Angel Street.

The owners of the garages of Calle Caballero and San Antonio el Pobre will enter and exit through Calle Caballero.

The vehicles that are going to do loading and unloading will be able to do it parking in Aire Street until 11.00 hours and access by Villamartín street with the necessary precautions and prioritizing the pedestrian and always with reduced speed.
