Cartagena recalls its deceased on All Saints' Day (29/10/2018)

During the Feast of All Saints, which takes place this Thursday, November 1, Cartagena is prepared as every year reinforcing those municipal services that are directly related to this celebration, such as urban transport, or regulation of traffic by the Local Police in the accesses to the cemeteries.

LOCAL POLICE DEVICE

The Local Police of Cartagena will reinforce the number of agents both on the night of Halloween, prior to the holiday, to prevent vandalism, and during the day of All Saints, controlling the access to the various cemeteries to ensure road safety.

With regard to Halloween, it is recalled that the launching of eggs may be a slight infraction to the Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, of Protection of Citizen Security, which punishes the author that causes damage or the defacing of movable property or real estate when they do not constitute a criminal offense.

This type of vandalism is punishable by fines of 100 to 600 euros in the case of adults and, for minors, it is a violation of the Criminal Law of Minors, in addition to the amount of money for the damage caused.

On the other hand, already on Thursday, November 1, traffic surveillance will be strengthened in the access to cemeteries throughout the day, maintaining a device that guarantees road safety.

Thus, the control and regulation of traffic will be carried out at the entrances to the Santa Lucia, San Antón, Canteras, Alumbres, Perín, Tallante, Los Puertos, San Isidro / La Magdalena, La Aljorra, Pozo Estrecho, La Palma, El Algar, San Ginés de la Jara and Los Belones.

BUSES TO THE CEMETERIES

Urban transport will also increase its frequency on All Saints 'Day, specifically on the bus lines that reach the municipal cemeteries, in order to facilitate citizens' access to them, which intensifies in these days.

Thus, on Thursday, day 1, the work day service will be maintained on line 5, which links the cemeteries of San Antón and Lo Campano, with buses every 15 minutes from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and, a From this time, the service will be like a holiday, every 30 minutes.

That same schedule will have the urban line number 7, which runs through the vicinity of the cemetery of San Antonio Abad.

The visit to the cemeteries will be the usual, although somewhat more flexible, according to the needs of the visitors.

VISIT OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION

At 11 o'clock on Thursday morning will begin the acts in which a representation of the municipal corporation led by the councilor of the Quality of Life Area, Carmen Martín del Amor will participate. It will be in the cemetery of Santa Lucía, where the delegation will attend a mass, followed by a response.

Later, the municipal representatives will go to the cemetery of San Antón, where, around 12.30, they will make an offering of flowers.
