Education consolidates the Vamos al Teatro campaign with a program in which more than 10,000 students will participate (23/10/2018)

The Department of Education has organized, one more year, in collaboration with Cajamar Caja Rural, the educational campaign "Vamos al Teatro", in which 10,542 students from 48 schools will participate, who can enjoy an offer of 18 works of theater.

The presentation has been in charge of the Councilor for Education, Mercedes García;

who has been accompanied by the director of the Institutional Business area of ​​Cajamar, José Antonio Chumillas.

Love for nature, cultural diversity, friendship, family and gender equality are values ​​that are taken into account when programming this campaign, in which the interaction of the students with the students also plays a determining role. actors, as indicated by the councilor.

During the course, 9 works will be performed at the El Batel Auditorium and 9 at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center at 10 and 12 o'clock, and will be aimed at students from Cartagena between 3 and 18 years old.

The councilor Mercedes Garcia has indicated that the program has not yet closed the places, so it has invited schools that have not yet done to enroll.

For its part, Chumillas thanked the staff of the Department of Education for their work in the development of this campaign, which has increased the number of attendees since its implementation in the 2010/2011 academic year.

The director of the Institutional Business area of ​​Cajamar has shown his satisfaction with the results of this campaign, and has shown his predisposition, on behalf of the institution he represents, to continue forming part of this project for many years.

THEATER WORKS INCLUDED IN THE CAMPAIGN GOING TO THE THEATER

The first representation has taken place this Tuesday, October 23, at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, where the students of children and the first cycle of primary have enjoyed the function Puss in Boots, which highlights aspects such as generosity , friendship and intelligence.

Also, due to the high demand for works in English for children and primary, works have been scheduled such as Hansel and Gretel, Treasure Island, Jack and the giant and Tarzan.

In addition, on the occasion of the International Day of the Library, the work Lecturita will be performed, beyond the imagination;

and on Christmas Eve students will attend the Christmas of Mr. Scrooge.

Sophie's Sofa, Peter Pan, El Retabillo de Don Cristobal and The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland will be other works that have been scheduled for the second quarter of the 2018/2019 school year.

On the occasion of Women's Day, the work The Secret of Scheherazade, which aims to raise the awareness of the school public about gender equality, has been programmed.

In the third quarter, it will be the turn of El Mago de Oz, which transmits values ​​such as tolerance, integration and justice;

and The emperor's new suit, which emphasizes the importance of self-esteem and the recognition of transcendental values ​​through fantasy and humor.

BEGINNINGS
