Citizens asked Manuel Mora to open the meeting to explain the conclusions of the TPN (17/10/2018)

- "This parliamentary term of PSOE, MC and Podemos is taking its last throes, but in the remaining months we can still lay the foundations to strengthen the staff of the City Council", says Manuel Padín.

On the occasion of the incorporation of Manuel Mora to the Government team and the assumption of its responsibilities in the areas of Human Resources, New Technologies and Innovation, Citizen Security, Treasury, Hiring, Heritage, Sports and Environment, the spokesperson for Citizens in Cartagena , Manuel Padín, points out that one of the first things he has to do now is to convene a meeting with the rest of the municipal groups to explain the conclusions of the report of the company that has made the new RPT, "Mora is now the most responsible and it has to comply with this plenary mandate that will mark the future of the City Council staff, therefore it has to report what plans it has to work based on these conclusions, and its timetable for convening the new places and the renovation that we desperately need, in addition to the due stability ".

The new councilor should also correct the dysfunction and inability of the PSOE to foresee and plan the annual needs of the municipality in extra hours and always resort to the improvisation of budgetary modifications to comply with the Local Police, firefighters and brigades. " The challenges that lie ahead are the design and development of the process to take out the municipal budgets of 2019, "in time and form, this City Council can not afford to be working with a structural delay of seven or eight months, because that only leads to blockade of works and subsidies, and at a scandalously low level of execution ".

As responsible for Citizen Security must ensure the safety of a municipality that lives in fear of the proliferation of robberies, violent occupations and drug gambling dens.

"We still think that seven months after the end of the legislature nobody can assume the municipal powers of a city like ours without damaging the already battered operation of a government in an absolute minority, I wish luck to the new councilors because they will need it" , explained Manuel Padín, who maintains that "these continuous government crises that we have suffered since 2015 thanks to PSOE, MC and Podemos have been the general tone of this dismal and empty legislature".

According to Manuel Padín, "at this stage of the film (of terror), with an exhausted and unproductive legislature, the best thing that can happen to Cartagena is that the furniture is saved and that the municipal elections arrive, and hope that a Stable government, without internal wars, with clear and uncomplicated ideas to face the enormous challenges that lie ahead with the arrival of High Speed, the ZAL, the decontamination of our land, the arrival of the City of Justice, or the citizen security, among many other challenges ".
