The tribute was unanimously agreed by the Municipal Corporation and has coincided with the celebration of the Urban Fest, which brings together all lovers of art, culture and urban sports, such as skateboarding, of which Echeverría was a great aficionado.

For his part, Tomás Díaz Lago, who by the express wish of the family has represented them, thanked the tribute and highlighted the deep religious convictions of Ignatius and that led him to do and act always in the way that he believed was the correct, hoping that this plaque serves as testimony and example.

The event, which has come to join the many awards received in recent months both nationally and internationally, has been developed within the framework of the Cartagena Urban Fest that this morning has developed numerous activities of art, culture and urban sport, both in the track where the tribute took place, and in the parking lot of the former Administrative Building on the street of Sister Francisca Armenzáriz, organized by the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena.
