The plenary rejects, on the initiative of MC, the regional government for its policy of "indoctrination" (03/10/2018)

MC manages to demand the return of Ara Pacis to Cartagena

A proposal of MC is approved to give a necessary impulse to tourism through the 'Gastronomic Fair of Campo de Cartagena'

The Plenary of the City of Cartagena, which held this morning's ordinary session in the Palace Hall, has failed, at the proposal of MC Cartagena, those responsible for Education, Culture and Tourism of the regional government and, in particular, its president Fernando López Miras, as well as the representatives of these portfolios during the current term, Adela Martínez-Cachá Martínez, Isabel Sánchez Mora, Miriam Guardiola Salmerón, Javier Celdrán Lorente, Juan Hernández Albarracín and Noelia María Arroyo Hernández.

This pronouncement has taken place due to the continued policy of indoctrination promoted by the regional government to offer a centralist vision of the region and cancel the identity and history of Cartagena.

The only party that did not support this motion and gave its approval to the indoctrination of the CARM Government was the Popular Party.

Also, the Plenary has shown "its rejection of the contents that are disclosed in textbooks, web pages and profiles of official social networks that hide the enormous wealth of this Autonomous Community and, in particular, the identity and history of Cartagena and its region, to offer a unique and centralist vision that does not conform to reality ", besides urging" the regional government to cease immediately the indoctrination of schoolchildren, visitors and inhabitants of this Autonomous Community, and remove the obstacles that prevent society from knowing the true history of this area of Spanish Levante, that of its 45 municipalities and, of course, that of Cartagena and its region that is repeatedly hidden ".

The spokesman of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, José López, recalled that, during this summer, have been a lot of omissions and inaccuracies that affect Cartagena in the books of Primary, citing some of them as "the graphic treatment Cartagena as a town, at the same time that Murcia was located on the coast as a fishing port, or the non-existent place name 'murcius' was published to refer to the continuity in the name of the city of Murcia;

the omissions of Cartagena between the medieval enclaves of this Levante area or as an expanding industrial zone, the only one whose place name does not appear, as well as other reviews of pure indoctrination ".

All this in a material that, as López has pointed out, "whose contents should be supervised by the Ministry of Education, no matter how much they focus on attacking the publisher and draining the package".

The mayor of Cartagena explained how "López Miras himself has implicitly acknowledged, of course, that the responsibility belongs to his Government, since he has offered to return his competences in Education so that what happens in Catalonia is controlled, forgetting that here children are indoctrinated and impoverished with this type of content that has been fostered by the counselors Isabel Sánchez Mora and Adela Martínez -Cachá Martínez ".

On the contents disseminated by the regional government directly, stressed that the responsibility for the manipulation of the same falls on the Ministry of Tourism and Culture that today occupies Miriam Guardiola Salmerón, before Javier Celdrán Lorente and, at the beginning of the term, Juan Hernández Albarracín and Noelia María Arroyo Hernández, respectively.

In this sense, has cited, as an example, the gallery of 'Murcia Digital Region' that begin in the Middle Ages, without there being any other reason than not having been founded before Murcia, or official tweets where we see the Teatro Romano de Cartagena, and he forgets to name Cartagena but does not claim the #VisitMurcia de Rigor. "

Finally, he has ratified MC's commitment "for asking that institutions serve all and not one, demanding a complete education and not a gross manipulation".

The Plenary endorses the requirement of MC and the taxi sector to create a joint service area at Corvera International Airport

A joint motion of all the groups of the Corporation, with the exception of the Popular Party, has ratified the position that MC Cartagena has always defended in this legislature so that the taxi drivers of Cartagena can operate in the Corvera International Airport, as the sector demands. of the taxi, creating a joint service area at the new airport.

It should be remembered that, previously, in November 2016 and February 2018, MC Cartagena already presented two initiatives to facilitate the taxi drivers of the municipality of Cartagena, and others of the Campo de Cartagena, and the entire region if they so demand , lend their services at the stop of the International Airport of the Region, located in Corvera, in the Region of Campo de Cartagena.

MC Cartagena remains committed to claiming that this infrastructure, of international vocation and conceived from the regional level, is not used to devertebrate this Autonomous Community even more, advising this free provision of services for all taxi drivers.

MC manages to demand the return of Ara Pacis to Cartagena

This morning, the Plenary Assembly unanimously approved a motion, promoted by MC Cartagena, for the return of Ara Pacis to Cartagena.

This initiative, promoted by Ricardo Segado, has determined that the municipal Plenary urges the central Government and, in particular, the Ministry of Culture, to mediate between the regional executives of CARM and Catalonia, in order to reach an agreement so that the 'Ara Pacis' can return to Cartagena permanently, being guarded and exposed to the public in the appropriate museum space.

This institutional declaration gives continuity to MC's commitment since the Cartagena training presented another initiative in this regard in September 2016, in addition to sending, Segado, in his then condition as councilor of the Culture and Heritage area, a letter to the Minister of Culture , Iñigo Méndez de Vigo, vindicating the return of the Altar of Health to Cartagena.

Segado has reported that "it is fair that the piece returns to Cartagena, one of its most important heritage elements that are outside the city."

"Now, it is the responsibility and obligation of the Ministry of Culture and the regional and Catalan governments to return that fundamental piece for the past of Cartagena to its place of origin."

The Ara Pacis, Roman altar dated in the 1st century, is one of the most important and representative pieces of the city in antiquity.

At the moment, it is in the Museum of Archeology of Barcelona.

It was found during the sixteenth century in the fortification works undertaken between the hills of Molinete and La Concepción.

Boycott to the brand 'Costa de Cartagena'

Despite recognizing that the regional administration is indoctrinating the citizens of this Region trying to nullify the identity and history of Cartagena, PSOE and Cartagena Yes Can They have voted against to claim the local government the immediate availability of the Association of Businessmen of Hospitality and Tourist Accommodation of Cartagena and its Region (HOSTECAR), by the appropriate way, of the amount of 100,000 euros, included in the Budget, to facilitate the contracting and launching of the 'Costa de Cartagena' campaign.

It is difficult to explain how, even recognizing the evidence that the regional government intends to impose a unique and centralist vision of the Autonomous Community, PSOE and CTSSP have voted, together with the PP, against selling the brand 'Costa de Cartagena'.

Citizens, in their usual line, has abstained.

With this initiative, MC intends to unblock another of its amendments paralyzed by the lack of organization and criteria of the current council members, a fact that is maintained since the approval of the budget that included the preparation of the Master Plan 'Costa de Cartagena', a text that hardly It will be released before the end of the year.

'Gastronomic Fair of Campo de Cartagena'

Similarly, the Plenary Session of the City of Cartagena, at the proposal of MC, has given the go-ahead for the launch of the 'Gastronomic Fair of Campo de Cartagena', together with the municipalities of Mazarrón, Fuente Álamo, Torre Pacheco, La Unión , Los Alcázares, San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar.

In this way, once again, MC has advocated the need to find decentralizing formulas, an issue that has prompted the Carthaginian training during the current term, as the study commissioned by José López at the University of Murcia.

During his speech, he suggested dating it in the last quarter of the year.

The first location could be Cartagena, as a precursor to the initiative, while in the future, being consistent with the regional dimension of the proposal, the headquarters would reach the rest of the municipalities of Campo de Cartagena.

Meeting with the company responsible for the job evaluation report of the City of Cartagena

A motion, presented by Isabel García, has allowed the municipal Plenary to urge the mayor to convene an urgent meeting of the company that has made the analysis, description and assessment of jobs of the City of Cartagena with all municipal groups and municipalities. representatives of the Personnel Board, in order to advance in the implementation of a consensus TPN at the City Council, as well as to reach consensus and advance on the rest of issues affecting the municipal staff.

García recalled that, on September 10, "we registered a letter requesting an urgent meeting with the company in charge of carrying out the 'Job Assessment Report of the City of Cartagena," which is generally known as RPT.

The final draft of this Job List is a commitment of the MC Government program, together with the consolidation of hundreds of public employees who were in a legal limbo and the hiring of new personnel through open and regulated procedures, either provisionally, through job exchanges, or through oppositions.

The deputy speaker of the municipal group MC Cartagena has called attention to the need "to provide the municipal staff with stability and security that they do not enjoy right now and to organize personal means to offer the best possible service to citizens", recognizing the company in its report that "there is an organizational chaos that impedes the normal functioning of the administration and that the political intromissions harm the work mechanics".

Given the evidence that "the PSOE government does not know or want to plan, it is why we return to do the work, as we consider that such a sensitive issue as the Human Resources of the City of Cartagena can not continue in this limbo."

Finally, Isabel García said that "we must find a document of consensus among workers and political groups, which allows the City Council staff is not subject to political changes, reorganizing resources and seeking to maximize efficiency and not 'place' those who have an affiliate card ", while affirming that" the new PTN should be implemented as soon as possible, as well as the Agreement on Working Conditions in which Castejón and Aznar have not advanced from their responsibilities, since only with method and organization it is possible to obtain the best results ".

Remodeling of the Santa Florentina Market

The Plenary has given the go-ahead to an initiative defended by Isabel García for which the municipal government has been urged to prepare, urgently, a comprehensive remodeling project of the Santa Florentina Market, budgeted and scheduled, to be included in the future Proximity Trade Impulse Plan to be drawn up by the City Council.

Likewise, it has been agreed that this text will be presented to both the merchants' association and all the political groups, in order to be able to advance before the end of the year and to allocate to these actions part of the reserved game in the amendment presented by MC to the 2018 Municipal Budgets.

Garcia has lamented that "after years of neglect in maintenance and small patches that have only worsened the situation, the Santa Florentina Market is in a critical state, with a high number of vacant positions.

The merchants complain about the municipal abandonment and the lack of attention ".

Faced with this situation, he argued, "our municipal group considers that an integral project for the rehabilitation of the building, as well as the underground parking, should be drawn up immediately, regardless of the form of management that is finally adopted for it.

This project must also consider the structural adequacy of the posts and facilities to the commercial, logistical and service requirements ".

"Once we have the project and know the total amount of obas to undertake, they can be executed in different phases, but always keeping in mind the global project, with a defined objective", concluded the deputy speaker of the MC Cartagena municipal group.

Investment in the 'Carretera del Ballet' of Portmán

The spokesman of MC, José López, has continued the exhibition of the Cartagena proposals, in this case, urging the Port Authority to undertake the necessary investment in the 'Carretera del Ballet' of Portmán.

In the content of the motion the adaptation and arrangement of the road is requested, creating a cycle path and pedestrian annexed to it, in favorable conditions and respectful with the protected area in which it is located.

Also, it has been requested that the joint work between the local Executive and the City Council of La Union be encouraged to put pressure on the port authority to undertake the action.

The alluded highway, the RM-314, which connects the lighthouse of Portman and the 'Playa del Lastre', is located in the municipality of Cartagena, bordering with the one of La Unión.

The road accumulates decades of little or no maintenance.

The current situation advises an action of draft since it is a road especially traveled in summer, used to access the fishing port, the Ballast Beach or the lighthouse.

In the same way it is used by walkers who use this road as part of their training, since it is in the vicinity of the battery of Ash, that of 'La Chapa' and the 'Roman Road' of Portman.

Deficiencies in Santa Ana town

Another MC proposal has addressed the situation in the deputation of Santa Ana, demanding the local government to act, urgently, to solve the problems and shortcomings suffered by neighbors.

Among the main demands is much public furniture and basic infrastructure such as lighting, signaling or trees.

Prioritizing in concrete measures, the dangerousness, due to the lack of lighting, of the existing road junction on Camino XIV del Sifón, Calle Hoz and General Serrano Montaner has been highlighted.

An increase in police surveillance in the area should also be addressed;

the adaptation of various public spaces;

the arrangement of sinkholes;

the adequacy of the fairgrounds, as well as the start of the relevant procedures to know the ownership of the restored Windmill, located at the end of General Martín Alonso Street, in order to reach an agreement with the Neighborhood Association and that it be the neighborhood collective that manages it, endowing it with use and performing recreational and leisure activities around it.
