The president of the Port Authority, Joaquín Segado, accompanied by the Club Runtritón representative, José Luis Conesa, and volunteers from the Pablo Ugarte Association have presented the details of the third edition of the 10K Solidarity Race of the Port of Cartagena to be held next October 6 and that has news.

The route changes incorporating the emblematic neighborhood of Santa Lucia.

The test will start and end at the dock of Alfonso XII.

The runners will cross the emblematic fishing district, continue to the Muelle de La Curra to pass by the coast batteries closest to the city until reaching Cortina Cove where they will return to the starting point.

The president of the Port Authority, Joaquin Segado, stressed "the role we give to the neighborhood of Santa Lucia, we seek to unite ourselves more and to link ourselves in a special way".

He recalled that during the 10K race the participants will also be able to enjoy the remodeling carried out on the stretch between the Sanson crane and the La Curra dock by the Port Authority.

The works, already completed, have involved an investment of over one million euros.

The president of the Port has highlighted that this port-city integration action has allowed, among other things, the extension of sidewalks for pedestrians, the creation of a bike lane and a specific path for the practice of running.
