Scholarship of 300 euros for the ten first students who enroll in Mineral Resources and Energy Engineering (13/09/2018)

The Official College of Engineers and Degrees of Mines and Energy for the East-South of Spain offers scholarships for the first ten students who enroll in October in the degree in Engineering of Mineral Resources and Energy of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).

The grants are 300 euros for the first year and 200 euros for the following year of full enrollment.

Those interested must register for the degree between September 21 and 28.

The registration period will begin on October 5.

The scholarships have been agreed by the dean of the College, Virgilio Bermejo, and the director of the School of Engineering of Roads, Channels and Ports and Mining Engineering (EICM) of the UPCT, Manuel Alcaraz.

"If the scholarships are quickly exhausted, I will ask the College Board to expand its number," says the dean.

To apply for the scholarship must be accredited enrollment in the College of Engineers and Degrees of Mines and Energy, whose headquarters is located on Calle Salitre, number 29, Cartagena.

The degree in Engineering of Mineral Resources and Energy qualifies to practice the profession of Technical Mining Engineer and can be supplemented in the UPCT with the master's degree in Mining Engineering and with the postgraduate specialization in Science and Technology of Water and Land.

The studies in Minas were of the first ones of university level in the city of Cartagena and they are distributed from 1871.
