The Cartagena University Rugby Club begins training (27/08/2018)

The Cartagena club begins with their training in senior category.

On Tuesday, August 28, the men's team will do it and on Thursday, August 30, the women's team.

The trainings, in ordinary schedule, will be Tuesday and Thursday at 20:30 for the male senior and Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 21:30 in the case of the female team.

The club has this year with Chris Eden as sports director, with José Ramón Rea as coach of the females and with Ian Morrison and Simon Hooper as male coaches.

The sub-18 teams, with Victor Arroyo, Perry Sánchez and Julio Francia as coaches;

and those of sub-16, with Yenny Victoria, Josué Esteban and Mamen Arnao in the technical direction, will begin their training shortly, the schedule, in principle, Tuesday and Thursday at 19:30, although it could suffer some modification.

Subsequently, the training of the Rugby School will start for boys and girls from 3 to 14 years old, which includes the sub-6, sub-8, sub-10, sub-12 and sub-14 categories.

Since the club, founded in 1987 and awarded in 2016 as the best base club in the municipality of Cartagena, all interested people are invited to try this sport, in which values ​​such as camaraderie, solidarity, discipline, passion or respect, among others, they are a fundamental part.

Players and players with or without experience, of all categories are welcome, can go through the training at the Municipal Rugby Field of La Asomada or contact the club by email, telephone or social networks, as they point out in the slogan of his promotional poster, "Aquí contamos tod @ s."
