The Fiestas de Lo Campano returned to the neighborhood of Cartagena for the second consecutive year after recovering after twelve inactive years.
The activities started on Friday August 24 with the proclamation by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
This day began with water games designed for the youngest and culminated with the proclamation of the mayor, who noted that from its origins, the neighborhood was intended to be a place of welcome in which the most important thing would be and remain its neighbors .
Also, Ana Belén Castejón said that from the City of Cartagena there is concern for the needs of the residents of this neighborhood, because "Lo Campano has been abandoned for too long."
The councilor took advantage of his intervention to remember that during the current legislature, the electrical installation of the Local Social has been changed, air conditioning has been installed in the assembly hall and accesses have been arranged, while explaining that they have also been removed the old changing rooms and the stage has been enlarged so that the neighbors can carry out their activities.
The activities continued on Saturday, August 25, with the installation of water inflatables, starting at 12:00.
In the afternoon, the youngest of the house enjoyed a performance of magic and science that was put on the stage of the Local Social.
The concert of the group 'The Diamonds' took place on Saturday night.
On Sunday, August 26, there was an end of the festivities with the Cantajuegos program at 5:00 p.m.
The batukada for all ages was held around 7:00 pm, after the Discomóvil took place.
The festivities were closed just at midnight, at which time the fireworks castle was fired.
