In fact, throughout the month of September will be installed a total of 150 new luminaries in the streets Pintor Balaca, Jimnez de la Espada, Ramn y Cajal, Prince of Asturias, Wssel de Guimbarda, Tierno Galvn, Gonzalo de Berceo and San Martn de Porres.

"With this, what we intend is to substantially improve the lighting of the streets of Cartagena and energy savings.

In fact, all the projects that are being tendered in relation to street lighting, whether in the Neighborhood Plan and Provincial Councils, in Financially Sustainable Investments or in Participatory Budgets, already contemplate LED lighting, "said the mayor Juan Pedro Torralba .

In the next few days the works of renovation of the luminaires of the Parque de la Rosa will conclude, "the remodeling of the park is already finished and the technicians are finishing placing the new lighting.

As soon as this work is finished we will proceed to open it to the public, "the councilor explained.

Among the forecasts of the local government is also the possibility of including a progressive modification of the luminaires of the Gran Va de La Manga with this contract.
