The Local Trade Bureau is summoned urgently (31/07/2018)

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has convened the Local Trade Bureau urgently to inform the shops of the city and the political groups that comprise the actions that are being carried out from the City of Cartagena in the field trade.

Ana Belén Castejón has indicated that work is underway on the Trade Promotion Plan, which will not only consist of giving subsidies, but will also include actions to help the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Cartagena.

In the last Table of Commercial Dynamization, which is part of the Municipal Council of Commerce, held on July 3 and 12, an agreement was reached on the drafting of a Plan to Revitalize the Small Commerce of Cartagena, where all the present commercial associations, to fill out some cards to detect strategic objectives and concrete actions to carry them out.

In that meeting they were given an index and a roadmap for the elaboration of the aforementioned Dynamisation Plan, which will be included in the Strategic Line No. 6 of the Strategic Plan for Employment of the Municipality of Cartagena, which was approved this morning .

Likewise, a new meeting of the Commercial Promotion Committee was convened for September 18, in order to share the proposals presented and to continue advancing in the preparation of said plan.

Therefore, the mayor has denied that the City Council has deferred the implementation of this plan and explained that the game of 120,000 euros can be used to subsidize projects submitted by trade associations, provided they are within the strategic objectives of the Small Business Promotion Plan of Cartagena.
