The Association of Neighbors of Los Urrutias, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena, have organized a program of parties that will take different activities to the town of Los Urrutias.
The activities will begin this Saturday, June 30, and will continue until Saturday, September 1.
The festivities will begin this Saturday with the reading of the Proclamation that this year will be held by the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, at 23:00.
The Minerva Duo will perform at the opening dance.
The duo will not be the only one to entertain the neighbors and holiday makers of Los Urrutias, since they will also perform the Bohemian Trio and the Duetto Quartet, on Saturdays, July 7 and 14, respectively.
For sardine lovers on Sunday, July 15, at 9:30 pm you can taste the traditional sardine in the Sports Center, followed by a touch of humor with the performance of Los Killos.
On the occasion of the celebration of the patron saint's day, the Virgen del Carmen, on Monday, the 16th there will be a flowered dart from 8:00 a.m., in which the neighbors who wish may make an offering of flowers.
At eleven in the morning there will be a solemn mass and offering of flowers, where the Choir Rondalla de El Algar will sing.
At 6:30 p.m. there will be a maritime-terrestrial procession of the image of the patron saint, from the church to the marina, boarding and arrival at Punta Brava.
The evening will end with a dance entertained by María José Lorente.
There will be activities for the little ones with a Divertilandia Park, where they will be able to jump or have fun in different attractions, theater, parade of disguises and aquatic inflatables will also be protagonists in the festivities of Los Urrutias.
