The neighborhood of Torreciega has already prepared everything necessary to celebrate its summer parties, which will run from June 18 to 24 and are organized by the Neighborhood Association of Torreciega, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
Throughout the week there are various activities planned for all ages, such as board games, family raffles and exhibitions, but it will be during the weekend when leisure activities will be intensified.
On Friday, June 22, activities will begin at the Local Social at 7:00 am, with the exhibition of photography and poetry.
At 8:00 pm, the Dance School will perform and at 9:00 pm the Proclamation of the festivities will be announced.
To end the day, the group Leidy Luna and Manuel Luzón will play music on Friday night.
The youngest will enjoy during Saturday June 23 a day full of activities designed for them, which will start at 11:00 am with games for children and youth, such as the sack race and the bicycle race.
During the afternoon, starting at 6:00 pm, the children's games will be resumed and approximately one hour later the raffle will be given to the family.
Saturday night will be enlivened by the performances of Azabache and Jesús Guzmán.
The celebrations of Torreciega 2018 will conclude on Sunday, June 24, with a festive day that will begin with Holy Mass at 12:00 noon.
Afterwards, the local food will take place in which the assistants will enjoy a paella.
During the afternoon, children who meet in this Cartagena neighborhood may participate in children's games with monitors.
The end of the festival will be in charge of the musical group Dueto, which will offer a live performance at 9:00 p.m. and at midnight the Fireworks Castle will be launched with which the festivities will be dismissed until next year.
