A leak of water vapor in the coke unit of the Repsol Refinery in Escombreras, about 11 this morning, due to the failure of a valve, has caused a cloud classified as non-toxic by the people in charge of the factory.

The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, as soon as she became aware of the incident, she contacted the director of the Refinery to inquire about what happened and offer municipal media.

Vehicles and firefighters, Local Police and Environment have moved to the area, which have reported that the problem has been resolved about 11:50 hours after the gradual closure of a valve.
