That the proposal does not generate walls that divide the municipality in two, that does not strangle the growth of the city and its neighborhoods and councils, and that bet on intermodality.

Also, that includes the elimination of the steps at the level of La Palma-Pozo Estrecho;

Alumbres;

Vista Alegre and Los Mateos;

and the commitment that the rail line will not cross any population center and that the FEVE line will be removed as it passes through Vista Alegre and Los Mateos, transferring the FEVE station to that of Víctor Beltrí.

This technical proposal should also include the following needs program:

Remodeling and protection of the Cartagena station building, adapting it to the performance of a high-speed line and intermodality.

Access to Cartagena station by a new rail corridor that runs through the east of the city of Cartagena, integrating the Railway Arterial Network to the urban development forecasts of Cartagena, by burying those sections that run through urban land and developable.

Possibility of rail access to the future Logistics Activities Area of ​​the Los Camachos Industrial Area.

Connection with the industrial zone of the Valley of Escombreras and construction of a variant to the urban center of Alumbres to avoid the current passage of dangerous goods.

Temporal optimization of the procedure of processing, coordinating it with the action of Connection of high speed Murcia-Cartagena.

Split of the lines of passengers and merchandise from Beniel to Cartagena due to the current traffic and to which it is planned.

To urge the Board of Directors of the Cartagena High Speed ​​SA Society to convene a meeting to analyze the proposed modification of the railway arterial network of the municipality of Cartagena and the Cartagena station, indicated in the previous sections, and its comparison with the proposal of the Informative Study of the Remodeling Project of the railway arterial network of the city of Cartagena, as well as with the proposal of the agreement of the Board of Directors of the Cartagena Alta Velocidad SA Society of May 28, 2018.

A viable and future solution for Cartagena

MC defends that the viable and favorable solution for the future of Cartagena goes through the arrival that guarantees the intermodality, the integration of the neighborhoods and the connection of the Port and the ZAL, taking up the proposal of diverting the lines towards the surroundings of Los Camachos and work in parallel to the La Unión highway from El Borricén.
