The Association of Families and Patients with Alzheimer's in Cartagena and Region, Afal, has organized the first charity fashion show to raise funds to finance non-pharmacological treatments aimed at patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
15 models, including Afal users, will wear on the catwalk garments donated by establishments in Cartagena and La Union, Trendy, Pdf and El Rincón de Mamen.
Raúl Nieto, manager of Afal, explained that "we integrate our patients in all the activities we organize because it is very important for them to socialize with the environment".
In the event that will be held on June 15 in Tumbao tropical-bar, the performance of the wizard Antón Martín, the comedian Diego the notary and the students of the Margarita Amante dance academy are scheduled.
