The VISAL Cultural Collective has organized the XXXVII Cultural Week of Vista Alegre in Cartagena, which will take place from 9 to 16 June in Cartagena and will feature the performance of singer-songwriter Luis Pastor at an opening ceremony to be held on June 9 at 10 pm hours.
The cultural week will have the collaboration of the Department of Culture, Celebrations, Youth, Equality, Sports and Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
On Saturday, June 9, prior to the opening concert, there will be a parade with band of cornets and drums in the neighborhood and the opening of the handicrafts exhibition by the Women's Association.
The next day, on Sunday, June 10, there will be the departure of the Shining Path towards Sierra Gorda;
as well as a chocolate and churros in the Plaza de los Reyes Católicos, the final of the caliche and petanque championship organized by the 3rd age club;
sport activities;
barbecue and móraga;
parades for children and festival of varieties with groups from the neighborhood.
A theater show with the representation of the children's show La Ratita Presumida by Teatro Cero will arrive on Monday, June 11;
while on 12, 13 and 14 June there will be activities for children's entertainment in the Plaza de los Reyes Católicos.
The theater will acquire relevance in this edition of the Cultural Week of Vista Alegre, which will host the representations of the works Medical Consultations, 8 women and My American cousin.
On Friday, June 15 there will be a night dedicated to the 3rd age with a Flamenco Gala and an evening of trovos.
To conclude, on Saturday June 16 will close this cultural week the concert of the band Filiu & Cia. All activities will be free.
