On May 29, 30 and 31, ISEN University Center will host the workshop "Organic Poetry: Reactions from the word, the body and performance", framed in the training laboratory of the Festival Much More May.
This training will be taught by the Spanish-Chilean experimental poet Pablo Rocu, manager and researcher in art processes and communities.
This workshop has as main objectives to experiment, through the displacement of the word, to transform it into a poetic gesture as a support of the work: poetic body-political body willing to stress the social space, creating situations of play that apply directly to one's own life, the body and its context to progressively find its own language of expression and communication.
In the last session, a collaborative composition will be made through the lab exercises to build a work open to the public space of a critical and constructive nature based on social ecology as a poetic fraction linked to the term "ecodependent", proposed by the festival.
Pablo Rocu develops a transdisciplinary work process between Spain and Latin America, crossing exercises and nomadic operations that involve creation processes in formats such as writing, rap and performativity.
Currently, he coordinates the Casa Trewa project, an experimental residence located in Lota, Bío-Bío region (Chile).
The formative laboratory of Mucho Más Mayo proposes a space for learning, production and reflection through the contemporary experimentation of the body and the word.
We will review in a theoretical and practical way references that have developed works linked to activism for the rights and sovereignty of nature.
