A project of the Festival Much More May involves the young people of Los Dolores in the transformation of their neighborhood (23/05/2018)

The trip to Oz begins in Los Dolores.

The project 'Hibris, Survive in the Dolores', developed by 60 students from the 1st year of the Baccalaureate of the Salesian School San Juan Bosco of Los Dolores, which will take place next May 25, is part of this idea.

This activity is framed within the section Festival of Students, belonging to the Festival Much More May.

Los Dolores is a neighborhood of great socio-economic diversity in which citizens of all ages reside (children, the elderly, adolescents above all) and live in public squares and banks, where they spend much of their time.

The project aims to involve young people in the evolution of their neighborhood, starting with squares and gardens.

For this, the daily elements are alternated, color is added, fonts are filled and the use of banks is changed, which are no longer to wait.

In addition, 'Hibris, Survive in the Dolores' is composed of two phases, a first intellectual-reflexible and another 2nd creative-artistic-productive phase.

Through a work in process, intellectual, reflective and critical they unleash their symbolic capacity and discover their artistic and productive abilities.

In this activity, in which the teachers and pupils of the Salesian Children and the graffiti artist Soze collaborate, an itinerant tour will take place from 11.00 am through 5 places in the Dolores and Hispanoamerica district (Plz. Juan Calero ; Plz. Angel Valverde; Plz. Exploradores; Plz. Auxiliadora).

The four facilities can be visited from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
