A delegation of deputies of the Popular Parliamentary Group with the spokesman, Victor Martinez at the head, has made a visit to the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cartagena where accompanied by the director of the School, Antonio Garcia, have made a tour of its facilities .
The popular deputies have verified the level of qualification that the more than 400 young people who are trained annually in the center, acquire through the different Middle and Upper Degrees that are taught in specialties such as Cooking and Gastronomy, Restoration Services and Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance, among others.
A training offer that is complemented by the obtaining of different quality certificates related to catering and catering.
The spokesman of the GPP, Víctor Martínez, has highlighted the high level of qualification acquired by the students of the different degrees and courses and the high degree of employability since more than 95% of the students get a job after completing their training.
Víctor Martínez has affirmed that professionalism in the service sector is a key aspect for a Region in which tourism is one of the most important economic sectors.
In this sense, it considers that the specialized training that is provided from the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cartagena is a key piece to offer quality tourist services.
