The Community offers a course in Cartagena to train young people as managers of the digital revolution (06/05/2018)

Thanks to this training action, students will be able to critically analyze the digital transformation needs of a company

A total of 25 young people will be able to train in Cartagena as professionals of the current digital revolution thanks to a course organized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), whose term remains open.

Those interested can still register on the web enabled by the EOI, since the course will begin in mid-May.

This training action, called 'Course of digital transformation manager', is aimed at under 30s who are enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program.

The main objective of the course is that these young people know the principles of digitalization, from its effects on the transformation of organizations, and learn to use digital tools to adapt to the new reality they provide.

Likewise, participants will be able to critically analyze the digital transformation needs of a company, and develop the necessary skills to help the company innovate and transform digitally.

One of the aspects that will be studied will be how different digital business strategies have influenced renowned companies on the international scene.

Other areas that will be analyzed will be the improvement of productivity with agile methodologies;

the improvement of internal communication;

the competences of the 'on line' channel;

Industry 4.0 or employability 4.0, as well as other resources to effectively help in the digital transformation of any company and the same student.

The course, eminently practical, has 320 teaching hours and includes the realization of a digital transformation plan based on real companies.

For the general director of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora, "this type of courses are those that offer the greatest added value to training, because they adapt to what is currently required in the labor market, and provide the young person with a series of knowledge and skills. tools that will significantly increase their options to access a sector on the rise ".
