The Formative Laboratory of the Festival Much More May program two workshops for the little ones (04/05/2018)

The Training Laboratory of the Mucho Más Mayo Festival has included in its battery of proposals for this year two workshops aimed at children and family that imply an original commitment to cultural innovation.

This is a Contakids workshop, a kind of family dance for children from two years old, and a workshop to approach nature from virtual reality and the exploration of feelings, "Oika Kids- you are a bird ... fly! "

Oika Kids - you are a bird ... fly!

Workshop given by Rich Blundell who is a holistic scientist, founder of the Oika project, and by Fred Adam, artist who works closely with Rich Blundell for the development and implementation of the Oika project in Spain, in England and the United States, and Chari Cámara, artist educator at Doctora Creativa and co-founder of La TransEducativa.

Fred Adam is an expert in spatial narrative and performs the artistic direction of the project.

Chari collaborates as an instructor Oika Kids in Spain.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKSHOP

During the workshop you will be able to fly like a bird, using VR technology (virtual reality).

Let's also explore the garden with all the senses open for a journey of perception and communication with the birds.

The main objective of the Oika Kids workshop is to awaken children's interest in nature.

For this we use certain concepts of Cosmosis defined by the holistic scientist Rich Blundell, the creator of the Oika project.

We propose to explore feelings of appreciation and gratitude for birds through a flight experience with cutting-edge and highly immersive virtual reality technology (HTC Vive).

We understand virtual reality technology as a powerful tool to perceive beyond our cognitive capacity.

So that children can preserve this feeling of being a bird, we propose a simple practice that allows them to discover and explore the birds of their neighborhood.

We will carry out small practices of drawing and careful listening so that they can continue to "fly" with their attention and creativity.
