On Wednesday June 9, the Feast Day of the Region, the Haven Foundation Store San Pedro celebrates the fifteenth anniversary of Torre Hogar Nazareth, located in Santa Ana, with a day of peaceful coexistence and open doors, for which volunteers working in this shelter for people affected by HIV / AIDS have organized a series of fun activities.

This center has the support of the City of Cartagena, through the Municipal Institute of Social Services and the Department of Social Services, through various grants and aid.

Nazareth Tower Foundation program dedicated to receiving HIV / AIDS patients, mostly in terminal or advanced disease criteria, responding to the AIDS problem in Cartagena and Murcia, with a health monitoring, adequate medical and pharmacological and psychological and social contributors direct action teams in the program.

The program runs from 1995.

Permanent residence or foster home, Hogar Nazareth Tower is open 365 days a year for 24 hours a day and attended by skilled health personnel, education and services as well as ongoing volunteer shift, being the regular home residents or beneficiaries.

At home he provides comprehensive care to residents (people living with HIV / AIDS), that is, care and health monitoring (semi-hospital care), social, psychological, health, food, assistance and support, workshops, tours, excursions , cultural visits (if you let your health), continuing education, socio-professional integration of those residents who can combine it with their health, and participation in civic platforms.

The people served are living with HIV / AIDS, mainly terminal or advanced disease criteria in social economic situation of exclusion, people who can not cope with the difficulties caused by their illness because they can not fend for themselves or for lack of the basic means of living that are supported by their families and have no income to afford the necessary assistance in this phase of the disease.
