Closure of School Program Parents A paper on the children, internet and the dangers of social networking, will end the program on Thursday in a ceremony chaired by the Councillor for Education which will also be delivered AMPAS diplomas for the parti (02/06/2010)

School program Parents organized by the Department of Education comes to an end and the closing ceremony to be held on Thursday 3 June at 19 am in the Hall of Military History Museum of Cartagena, has prepared a paper entitled Children on the Internet, by Francisco Martinez Sanchez, Coordinator of the doctoral programs of the Department of Didactics and School of the University of Murcia.

The theme was chosen in view of the reality we live and poses new responsibilities to parents in the education of their children, as technological advances make information a tool for learning and research, but also opens the door to hazards of certain social networks or inappropriate content.

This paper aims to analyze the extent of new communication technologies (ICT), to reflect on the impact of internet on society and children and youth towards ICT.

After the talk, there will be the presentation of diplomas, by the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, Associations of Parents of Pupils (AMPAS) participating in the program.
