Saturday began the cycle of flamenco recitals every year organized by the Department of Festivities in the marine district of Santa Lucia, and did so in style, with a concert presentation by the brothers Piñana, Curro, singing, and Carlos on guitar, which delighted the audience with the best of his art.
The work, which took place at the Fish Market, also attended by another great artist of the flamenco, the dancer Nadia Marquez, known around here after winning the only prize in the International Festival of Cante de las Minas de la Union 1998, and the string quintet and drummer Diapason Michelangelo Orengo, who accompanied the Piñana on their actions.
Following the presentation, the following will be the inaugural concert of the cycle, which takes place on Saturday 5 June, Archangel, also in the Fish Market in Santa Lucia, from 22.30 hours.
